Mohinders is doing a lot of things right. By partnering with traditional shoemakers in India, they are maintaining a long tradition and continuing to invest in the community. Their shoes, while not vegan, are of incredibly high quality and will last for many years. This is further enhanced by the fact that their shoes can be re-soled. Ultimately, this reduces the amount of waste.

Unfortunately, there is no clear indication that they guarantee a living wage to the workers in their production, and without any 3rd party certifications, there is a lack of transparency in their supply chain.

All-in-all, while we do recommend Mohinders for the things they do right, we feel that they could be doing more.
