Baabuk shoes are comfortabe and stylish, and the fact that they are walking the path of sustainability makes them a responsible choice as well.

While they are a registered B Corp, their total score of 89.6 is only marginally above the acceptance criteria of 80 points. They could still do more to ensure that they reduce plastic usage in their supply chain, ensure that all sources of materials are fair trade and eco-certified (not just the wool), as well as to take measures to offset the impact of shipping and logistics. 

However, given that the vast majority of shoe manufacturers in the world are, at best, oblivious to Earth Friendly choices (if not maliciously evil), Baabuk’s efforts are a huge step in the right direction and we would recommend them without hesitation.
